It takes advantage of rag doll physics, using it to create an enjoyable gaming experience. Totally Reliable Delivery Service falls into the same sort of category as Gang Beasts and Goat Simulator. While the concept seems boring and repetitive, the folks at We’re Five Games really know how to turn it into the most stressful, difficult, and exciting thing ever. Totally Reliable Delivery Service has been permanently added to the PS NOW service.I have never in my life thought I would be playing a game where all you had to do was deliver packages to people. Totally Reliable Delivery Service reminds me a bit of Moving Out and Overcooked’s fun co-op style gameplay but was done much poorer but if you are looking for a quick game to play with friends or family around this can be a fun game for a few hours. Overall, it’s a solid game but it’s one that doesn’t quite live up to the expectations. Totally Reliable Delivery Service does have some really laugh-out-loud moments but the online play doesn’t really work that well and the co-op play in general just increases the level of frustration. Saying that it can be a lot of fun delivering packages using various vehicles and when you team up with other players. The controls are awkward and the character movement is very frustrating most of the time. Totally Reliable Delivery Service is a fun game but it’s not as much fun as it thinks it is. The gameplay does get a bit tedious after a while and the in-game audio is pretty underwhelming. It has a couch co-op mode perfect for those who want to play with friends or family and it’s very colorful, vibrant, and funny to play but the controls are awkward and unresponsive and the online multiplayer is poorly optimized. Totally Reliable Delivery Service is a fun and silly solo or multiplayer experience. The sound, in general, is fine without being particularly memorable and the background music is instantly forgettable though and the overall sound quality I would say is subpar. The ragdoll effects are hilarious but can also cause huge frustration when you are trying to complete the most basic function. The in-game graphics are very colorful and fun as are the character designs. Despite some of the issues, it’s still a really fun experience that doesn’t take itself too seriously and is a little bit of light relief but it does have some big flaws. I experienced this issue a lot even when hosting a match so if you are going to play online make sure you are with 3 friends otherwise you waste most of your time trying to find the other players and of course it’s a lot more fun playing with friends and just laughing at all the random chaotic stuff happening. The online mode is a little bit of a mess because if you jump into one of the ongoing games being hosted by someone else you just get dropped in at the start point which isn’t very helpful if the 3 other players are miles away. When compared to similar games like Human Fall Flat or Gang Beasts, the controls here really don’t feel very responsive or good enough and this can be a constant cause of frustration when attempting deliveries. You can run, jump or use your hands to control various vehicles with different levers. The controls are a little bit of a mixed bag here as you use the triggers to grab or lift things with each arm. The map is fairly large and to get around quickly there are cars, vans, boats, and even planes to help you with your deliveries.
